Chicago Careers in Law (CCIL)

The University of Chicago is committed to guiding College students and alumni through the career development process. The Chicago Careers in Law (CCIL) Program seeks to introduce students interested in law to the work of lawyers and support them as they decide whether law is a good fit for them. CCIL helps students prepare successful applications to law school. CCIL is a non-selective program, open to all students and alumni of the College.

When I read an application from a University of Chicago student or graduate, I’m very confident that he or she is well-prepared for the rigors of law school. I’m a big fan of the core curriculum at Chicago as well as the relative lack of grade inflation.
